My journey into the world of photography began at a young age. When I was just six, I began drawing portraits of people, focusing on their facial features and expressions, all unique to each person. What started as a hobby grew into an obsession, and for several years afterwards, I studied other artists and drew my own versions of their work. It was not the most obviously creative exercise, but it allowed me to develop technique and an eye for detail.

Fast forward fifteen years, and I was still reproducing the world around me, only this time I began to wield a camera instead of a pencil. Every day was filled with magical moments and people, and when I took a photograph, I realised I felt the same sense of joy and excitement I experienced as a young boy - a fleeting and precious thing.

Every picture tells a different story and to me, having a camera in my hand feels like the most natural thing in the world.

This passion stayed with me as I entered the hospitality industry, a world which revolves around people and sensory delights. Instead of just admiring wonderful food and beverage creations, I began to capture them for posterity through photographs, an experience which got me noticed by a fellow graphic designer while we were working together on Liberty’s Mimosa Club branding. Before long, this relationship blossomed, and I started working with clients such as Brummells Jersey, Indigo Medical, Silkworth Charity Group, and Les Amis Charity.

Having the visual backbone in place, built through years of experience in the field, I decided to refine my craft and joined Film University which gave me deeper insights into the vast world of image making and more so the moving image.

Every picture tells a different story and to me, having a camera in my hand feels like the most natural thing in the world. It is a prism through which to see the world and, with technique and creativity, help others to see its beauty. I still have some way to go on this amazing journey documenting life around me, but I would like to give a special thanks to Jon Moore and my family for their support and encouragement.

Do you have an idea or would like to work together? Don't hesitate, give me a shout. We can grab a coffee and get to know each other better.
